WordPress Plugins Reinstall.

Your site https://davidtkeane.ie/ is not loading because one of your plugin is creating a redirect loop. I disabled all the plugins by renaming the folder ‘plugins’ to ‘plugins.back’. I will recommend you to change the folder name back to ‘plugins’ (you can do this through Cpanel > File Manager) and to disable the plugins you installed when the site was still working.

 

I tried to install a new plugin, but WordPress will not allow, so I have to reenable the old plugins and make sure the SSL plugins are not enabled.

Akismet Anti-Spam Install. This will not install due to plugin crash.

 

How to Disable Plugins that get messed up.

1. Call or email your hosting company.
   
2. They will be able to FTP and change the plugin folder name to -back.
   
3. You can then rename the main plugin folder to plugin.
   
4. All plugins now show all plugins inactivated
   
5. Activate one by one

Media Library Not Working.

Media library is not showing the picture when uploaded, the file is there.

1. Plugins maybe causing the problem. Disable all, then one by one enable and check media library.
   
2. The uploads folder may have the wrong permissions
   
3. I changed the settings below and the problem is still there.
   
4. I disabled all plugins and problem still there.
   
5. I installed one new plugin called Media library folders and there is still a problem when using their plugin.
   
6. Installing app for FTP images plugin Add from Server suggested by LetsHost.
   

Using these plugins to try and fix the issue.

Trying this fix now.

In your /wp-content folder, you should find your /uploads folder. Check the permissions assigned to this folder. … Go back to your Settings => Media page in your WordPress dashboard, and then uncheck the Organize my uploads into month- and year-based folders option. I troubleshooted the site and the media didn’t show up as suggested by WordPress.

ii) If fix (i) above did not work, try this fix.  This requires you to edit the .htacess of your WordPress installation. If you had never edited the file before, simply back the existing one up. I usually do this by renaming it to something like .htaccess-old

From there, refresh your server and website. WordPress will create a fresh .htaccess and this can solve the problem of images not showing up.
